Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

Account and profile: your email address, authentication identifiers, and the display name you choose. Optionally, and only if you enter them: age, height, weight, gender, and fitness goals. Training: your workout history, sets, reps, weights and effort ratings, bodyweight log, equipment profile, saved routines, and language preference.

Social Information

Reybandz has social features. They are off by default and every one of them is your choice. If you take part, we collect the public handle you pick, the accounts you follow and who follows you, reactions you give, workouts you publish, and any reports or blocks you create. Reports include the free-text description you write. If you never claim a public handle, you do not appear to other users at all.

Region

If you choose to set a region, we store a country and a city that you select yourself from a fixed list. We do not use your device location services, we do not request location permission, and we do not collect or store coordinates of any kind. Your region is never shown to anyone. It is used only to decide whether another person trains in the same city as you, and that person sees a "near you" label and nothing else.

What Other Users Can See

Under Settings you choose who sees your workouts (Everyone, Followers, or Nobody, and the default is Followers) and who can follow you. A workout keeps the setting it was published with, so changing that setting affects future workouts and does not retroactively hide or reveal past ones. What another person can see about you is limited to your handle and display name, workouts you published at a tier that includes them, and summary training statistics on your profile. Other users never see your email address, age, height, weight, individual exercise records, or region.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used to run the app: to generate and personalize your training, track your progress, and operate the social features you opt into. It is never used for advertising, never used to track you across other apps or websites, and never sold or rented. To be precise about a distinction that matters: information you choose to publish is shown to other users of Reybandz, exactly as you configured it. That is different from sharing with third-party companies, which we do not do, other than the service providers named below who process data on our behalf in order to run the app.

Data Storage and Service Providers

Your account and training data are stored securely in the cloud so you can reach them from any device. We use the following providers, and only for the purposes named: Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Vercel for web hosting, Sentry for error monitoring so we can find and fix crashes, and Stripe for payment processing on purchases made through our website only. The mobile apps contain no purchases. Sentry is configured not to collect personal information, and error reports are filtered before they are sent. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Moderation and Safety

If you report a person or a post, we store your report, including what you wrote, so that we can review it and act on it. If you block someone, we store that so we can keep the two of you apart. Blocking is mutual in effect: neither of you will see the other.

Your Rights

You have the right to access all data we hold about you, export it in a portable format, delete all of it permanently, and withdraw consent for optional data processing. The export includes your social data as well as your training data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the in-app menu via Request Account Deletion, or by emailing us.

GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Privacy Act (CPA) grants you the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies & Local Storage

The app uses browser localStorage to keep your preferences and a working copy of your training data on the device. No tracking cookies are used. Session storage is used only for trial access authentication.

Children

Reybandz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
